A new dawn is on the horizon, where boundaries are broken, diversity is embraced, and an optimistic, creative vision of our future on Earth takes center stage.

Fear takes us down an unexpected road in EOS, a revolutionary Solarpunk story from author Samantha Redstreake Geary, in collaboration with artist Jenny Vyas, featuring music by Really Slow Motion.

EOS tackles real-world issues concerning terrorism, prejudice, and diversity, to near-future technology surrounding sustainable energy that restores the balance between humanity and nature. This isn’t a defeatist tale. It is a look through the lens of positive futurism that showcases the courage, compassion and capabilities of humanity as equal partners in building a bridge to a better tomorrow.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who joined this special AtoZ journey through the imagination. Special thanks to  our awesome hosts, Arlee Bird, Ninja Captain Alex J. CavanaughJeremy Hawkins, Heather M. Gardner,
Author AJ Lauer, Pam Brown Margolis, Zalka Csenge Virag, Joy Campbell, John Holton, AND my fearless leader, Damyanti Biswas and our amazing D’s Company gals, Guilie Castillo, Misha Gericke, Andrea Michaels, Soumya Prasad, and Vidya Sury! You guys rocked this challenge!

With close to 2K global participants, visiting new folks and keeping up with friends was tough. Having planned 90% of my posts, I imagined there would be plenty of time to make the rounds, but juggling a new release, an international composing contest, and a short film monopolized most of my time. I realize, after wrapping up my third challenge, the struggle to strike a balance between posting and visiting is inevitable, regardless of preparation.

I took an activist approach for this year’s challenge. Infused with positive futurism and universal compassion, EOS is a daring departure from the dystopian path we’ve been told to travelIt was created to INSPIRE. It is a story that reflects what WE, as artists, need to take an active role in changing. WE are global agents for a better future. Well chosen words and notes have the power to spark revolutions–use it to make a difference. Make your mark and make it matter.
